Biography
Dr. Shahul Ameen passed MBBS from Government Medical College, Calicut, and MD (Psychiatry) from Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi. He regularly writes in Malayalam health magazines about various topics related to mental health and writes a regular column on cyberpsychology in Mathrubhumi Arogyamasika. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine since 2017. He has published more than ten articles in PubMed-indexed journals. He has been the Editor of the Kerala Journal of Psychiatry, the of-ficial journal of the Indian Psychiatric Society Kerala Branch. In 2013, he was elected for the Early Career Psychiatrist Program conducted in Colombo by the Asian Federation of Psychi-atric Societies. He won the Best-Case Conference Certificate of Excellence Award at the An-nual National Conference of the Indian Association of Private Psychiatry held at Ahmadabad in November 2013. In June 2015, he was selected for the Young Health Professionals Tract in relation to the International Congress of the World Psychiatric Association, held in Bucharest, Romania.
